Why don't you go on a weekend trip with your camera and then paint from the pictures.
If your not scared to get dirty you could also volunteer at a Sanctuary. Again only taking pictures that you paint from. If you volunteer you are not going to have time to paint. But if you always have some kind of camera you may get some real good shots you can paint.
