What does a Halter Event consist of?

I just bought an 11 mo. old filly, who's got a World Champion bloodline in halter events from boths parents. I am wanting to learn more about this type of event so that I might be able to show her in one, but I am having a hard time finding a site that tells me exactly what the event consists of, or how to train the horse for that event, or even what the judges are looking for. I basically need a "Halter Events for Dummies" book ! Help, how do I get started???
