My horse has had a lump on one or both sides of his face since we got him 8 months ago. one lump burst open with blood and puss and has been draining for 2 months. The other side went down, but now two more lumps on the top side of his nose have started to come along now. He had a thyroid problem during all this but we have treated with herbs. His body health now seems excellent but the lumps on his face have us very concerned. What could it be? We have looked into strangles but the placement of the bumps seems wrong as well as the other symptoms.
