I have a 13 year old quarter horse not Reg. I have had him for a year. This summer I have been having trouble with colicing. I have had him checked by a vet. We did the power pack on him. He hasn't colicd in a while now, but he has very loose bowels. I feed whole oats, sweet feed, small amount of bran, alfalfa pellets, liquid vitamins, flax seed. He gets plenty of hay. Can any one tell me why he has loose bowels and what I can do about it?
