This is a real tough spot to treat because of the continuous flexing of the area - everytime she takes a step the wounds are reopened. Have you tried water therapy? Hose the wounds daily for about 15 minutes - cold water - takes some time but it's a cheap and effective way to treat wounds. Also, check out the 'natural' medicines -calendula (extract of marigold)is a great one - get it at your natural health store - comes in tincture and salve. The tincture is probably cheaper in the long run as you dilute it in water. Also, aloe vera juice - available at any large grocery/discount center - spray it on a couple of times a day. Works even better with a little bit of lavendar oil added. You also might want to limit her exercise, keep her from walking, or running around which will give the wounds a better chance to heal. Good luck, and give it plenty of time.
