I bought a beautiful blk 5yr old stud that we can not get him to move. Studs are supposed to be very entergetic and hard to handle, this stud is totally the opposite. I dont even have to use a stud chain on him. Well the question is that I heard that race horse oats give energy, I cut back on his pellets 1/2 scoop and been giving him 1/2 scoop oats. But i also heard that oats go right through them. Will cutting him back on his pellets make him loose weight? Should i just add 1/2 scoop oats to his 2 scoops pellets? I dont want him to colic.
