I hope you receive this response before you plant wisteria anywhere near your horses! Wisteria is poisonious to horses and humans. Most articles will suggest that it is only poisonious when the seed or pod is ingested but if a horse consumes enough of the leaves, branches, etc... it can cause severe colic or spastic colon and in some cases death.
