New Horse Rescue Book coming out in October

I just got an e-mail from Frank Weller, founder of EARS, the Equine Angels Rescue Sanctuary. Equine Angels rescues PMU mares and foals by purchasing them directly from PMU farms in Canada, otherwise these horses could end up at the slaughterhouse. The EARS organization then finds the animals good homes with responsible owners. Check out the mares and foals on the EARS website - foalrescue.com. There are some really nice draft crosses, paints, and appaloosas on the site.

The e-mail I received was promoting the book “Equine Angels: Stories of Rescue, Love, and Hope” by Frank Weller and Donna M. Cloutier. The book chronicles the lives of the horses rescued by the EARS facility and the way the animals have enriched the lives of the families adopting them. I have already pre-ordered my copy and can hardly wait to get it. The book comes out in October. Congratulations and best wishes to the folks at EARS, Frank Weller, and Ms. Cloutier. I hope the book successfully promotes the good work of the EARS organization and generates enough income to keep their operation going for many years to come.
